How to use

  1. Unscrew the floater base; load up to 4 tablets into the central column.
  2. Re-fit base; set port openings narrow for slow release or wide for fast.
  3. Drop floater into the tub; allow to drift away from skimmer suction.
  4. Check tablet level every 7 days; refill when 1 tablet remains.
  5. Wipe floater monthly with a soft cloth to remove tablet residue.
  6. Store dry between uses; mineral residue will discolour over time.

Dosing guide

Capacity 4 tablets. For a 1500 L hot tub, load 2-3 tablets and adjust ports half-open. For larger swim spas load to 4 tablets and open ports fully.

How it works

Two-piece moulded HDPE chemical floater with central tablet column, threaded base and adjustable vent ports.

Tablets sit in the central column above the vented base. Water enters through adjustable ports, dissolves the lowest tablet face and releases sanitiser into circulation. Adjusting port aperture controls flow rate.

Tablets dropped loose into a tub bleach acrylic surfaces and dissolve unevenly. A floater contains the dissolution and lets you tune feed rate to match bather load and water temperature.

Frequently asked questions

How many tablets does it hold?

Up to 4 standard 20 g bromine or chlorine mini tablets.

Bromine or chlorine?

Either, but not mixed. Choose one chemistry per floater and stick to it.

How long between refills?

1-2 weeks for a typical 1500 L tub at 2-3 tablets per fill.

Will it fit my tub?

Universal floater, fits all hot tubs and small spas. Tether available for swim spa flow.

Adjustable rate?

Yes. Threaded vent ports open and close to control feed rate.

Replacement tablets?

Bromine Tablets 20g or Chlorine Mini Tablets, sold separately by chemistry choice.

What is it made of?

HDPE with HDPE base seal, all chlorine and bromine resistant.

Why a floater?

Loose tablets bleach acrylic; floater contains dissolution to a controlled column with vented release.

Can I use it in a swimming pool?

For small pools yes, but skimmer feed is more practical at pool scale. Floater is the hot tub standard.

Sanitiser too low?

Open ports; add extra tablet; check water flow around floater.

Sanitiser too high?

Close ports; reduce tablet count; remove floater for 24 hours if needed.

Floater vs erosion feeder?

Floater is portable, fits any tub; erosion feeder is plumbed in-line for permanent installation. Choose by tub setup.
